Key Responsibilities
- Collaboration with legal department in administration of and compliance with contracts
- Administration of counterparty Code of Conduct and other company policies
- Support development, negotiation and review of key contracting agreements with government and private clients, partners and subcontractors, consistent with company standards
- Support for end-to-end activities associated with contracting for the company's project portfolio, working closely with internal project teams and project partners
- Active support in contracting requirements, including, but not limited to confidentiality agreements (NDA), memoranda of understanding (MOU), term sheets, engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) agreements, operation and maintenance agreements, and ancillary documents
- Prioritization of compliance with safety and health in all applicable contracts
- Support Senior Contract Manager with administrative tasks for the organization and management of construction contracts.
- Development and administration of enterprise contracts management platform, including intake process, internal deadline and renewal tracking for proactive actions, reporting, and maintenance of contract files in accordance with company policies
- Training of company personnel on contracts platform intake, reporting and compliance
- Support Senior Contract Manager with analysis of complex public and private requests for proposals (RFPs) and associated responses/bids for business risk, including specification of contractual guidelines and terms and conditions for procurement
- Support Senior Contract Manager as corporate point of contact to advise and field contract questions, review and reporting of key contracts issues for company operations, finance, administration and senior management
- Assist with management and implementation of contracts and template revisions, including due to changes in law, regulation and industry trends impacting business objectives
- Preparation of formal contract correspondence to ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions, as required for operations, finance and administration, including strategic agreements, HR, IT systems procurement and consulting, financing agreements and leasing
- Monitoring and compliance with licensing and registration requirements

Work Experience
Knowledge
- Understanding of contracting lifecycle, including selection, evaluation, award, and close-out of contracts Understanding of proposal process and ability to provide contract and policy compliant support and recommendations
- Familiarity with international operations, agreements and different legal systems desired

Qualification Required
- Bachelor's Degree and/or 2+ years of relevant experience in similar roles supporting a contracts/legal department
- Familiarity with MS Office tools and with contracts and document management platforms
Strong document editing skills, including use of Adobe Acrobat and contracting comparison software, attention to detail, ability to support on a multitude of projects simultaneously
Relevant Experience Required
- At least 0-3 years overall experience with supporting negotiation and drafting of commercial
agreements and documents. Experience with construction agreements and procurement
agreements ideal but not required
- Demonstrated understanding of the overall function of commercial agreements
- Experience in
the renewable energies industry ideal, but not required
