Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Nagpur/Navi mumbai for a Continental/Chinese - DCDP (Demi Chef de Partie) or Commis. The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting dishes, adhering to food hygiene and safety standards, assisting in kitchen operations, and collaborating with the culinary team to maintain quality. Additionally, the role involves managing inventory for section requirements and supporting junior staff with guidance and training.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in preparing and cooking Continental and Chinese cuisine
  • Strong knowledge of food handling, hygiene standards, and safety procedures
  • Skilled in kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation, and portion control
  • Ability to manage inventory and maintain an organized work environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the kitchen team
  • Certification or degree in culinary arts or relevant field is an advantage
  • Prior experience in a similar role within a high-end restaurant or hotel is preferred
