We are seeking an experienced Continental Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating exceptional dishes and will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality continental cuisine, ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present high-quality continental dishes according to the restaurant's menu.
  • Ensure the kitchen area is clean and organized at all times.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak times.
  • Maintain food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with local regulations.
  • Create new recipes and menu items to enhance the dining experience.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5-15 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fine dining or high-volume restaurant.
  • Proficient in preparing a variety of continental cuisines including French, Italian, and Spanish.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Excellent knife skills and knowledge of cooking techniques.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution is preferred.
