Content Writer

We are a Sydney-based accounting and financial consultancy firm having operations in India as well as Australia. We are looking to hire a part-time content writer to create content for our company websites, SEO rich blogs, email marketing, social media post captions, etc.

We expect you to know the latest SEO techniques.

Content Writer Responsibilities:

• Conducting basic research on industry-related topics to develop original, plagiarism-free content.
• Developing content for blogs, weekly emails, services, and the company website.
• Assisting the marketing team in developing content for advertising campaigns.
• Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies.
• Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability.
• Conducting keyword research and using SEO best practices to increase traffic to the company website.
• Creating compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience.
• Identifying customers needs and recommending new content to address gaps in the company's current content.
• Assist with creating testimonial videos to enrich the company's trust value.

Content Writer Requirements:

• Qualification: BCom or equivalent qualification from a commercial background
• Knowledge of the tools: Quiltbot, Jasper, Surfer SEO and ChatGPT.
• Proven content writing or copywriting experience.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
• A portfolio of published articles.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
• Effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of keyword research tools such as Google keyword planner, Answer the public, Ahrefs, etc., is a plus.
• We expect you to know the latest SEO techniques.
