We are looking for an experienced Content Writer & Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep expertise in Government Exams such as SSC, Banking, Railways, Teaching Exams, State PSC, or similar competitive exams. The candidate must have a strong understanding of the competitive exam ecosystem, preparation strategies, exam structure, and evolving trends. The ideal candidate should not only write well but also deeply understand what these exams demand, what mistakes students commonly make, what challenges aspirants face during preparation, and what kind of study approach actually works.
This role requires someone who can research like an expert, think like a mentor, and write like a strategist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research on Government Exams including syllabus, exam pattern, previous year trends, difficulty level, and evolving competition.
- Identify real problems faced by aspirants such as syllabus overload, lack of clarity, poor strategy, confusion due to multiple resources, and exam-day pressure.
- Analyze how the company's study materials address these problems and communicate that value clearly through content.
- Write high-quality website content for the company's products, including landing pages and product descriptions.
- Write persuasive scripts for advertisements, promotional videos, and marketing campaigns based on strong exam understanding.
- Develop conversion-driven content aligned with product positioning and student needs.
- Rewrite and improve existing content to make it clearer, sharper, and more impactful.
- Ensure all content is accurate, relatable, student-focused, and aligned with actual exam realities.
- Collaborate with academic and marketing teams to maintain strong positioning and consistent messaging.
- Stay updated with exam notifications, trends, and preparation strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must have personally prepared for Government Exams or have direct hands-on experience in the competitive exam preparation ecosystem.
- Strong practical understanding of Government Exams such as SSC, Banking, State PSC, Railways, or similar competitive exams.
- Strong scriptwriting and content writing skills in English and Hindi; proficiency in any regional language is an added advantage.
- Clear understanding of student psychology and preparation challenges.
- Ability to convert exam insights into compelling, persuasive narratives.
- Strong research and analytical mindset.
- Strong proofreading and editing ability.
