Role Overview
We are looking for a Content Writer who can translate clinical science into clear, empathetic, and SEO-optimised content for two distinct audiences: patients and caregivers navigating mental health challenges, and clinicians evaluating EASE for their practice. The ideal candidate writes with both scientific integrity and human warmth, and understands that in the mental health space, accuracy and tone are equally critical.
They will also take on the responsibility of SEO & AI SEO to grow the business organically.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and write blogs, patient education guides, condition explainers, and website copy aligned with EASE's clinical evidence and brand voice.
- Produce clinician-facing content including product pages, FAQs, and case-study style articles that speaks credibly to psychiatrists and neurologists.
- Understand search intent for mental health queries (e.g. treatment for depression without medication, tDCS therapy India) and craft content that answers real user questions.
- Optimise all content for readability, structure, keyword integration, and medical accuracy.
- Collaborate with the clinical, design, and SEO teams to align content with product launches, treatment protocols, and broader campaigns.
- Edit and proofread content for clarity, tone, compliance with medical communication guidelines, and brand voice consistency.
- Write 100% original, human-like content; use AI tools responsibly as research and drafting aids, not replacements for original thought.
- Produce long-form articles (8002000 words) covering topics such as neuromodulation, medication alternatives, brain health, and patient recovery journeys.
- Learn SEO and Grow company's presence organically online.
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience writing for neuroscience, brain health, healthcare, MedTech, mental health, pharma, or medical devices.
- Portfolio of research-heavy long-form articles or patient education content.
- Experience writing for both B2C (patients/caregivers) and B2B (doctors/clinics) audiences within the same brand.
- Ability to create condition guides, comparison articles, FAQ pages, and clinician-facing product content.
- Experience with SEO
Requirements
- Ability to persuade people through your content
- 6 months 2 years of professional content writing experience (health, science, or medical writing preferred).
- Strong writing and editing skills, with demonstrated ability to simplify complex clinical or scientific topics for general audiences.
- Solid understanding of SEO content fundamentals: keyword research, search intent, meta descriptions, header hierarchy, and internal linking.
- Comfort writing sensitively and empathetically about mental health, addiction, chronic conditions, and patient recovery.
- Familiarity with AI writing and research tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini) used responsibly to improve workflow efficiency.
- Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple content pieces simultaneously, and communicate proactively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to factually accurate, error-free content especially important given the clinical nature of our product.
Nice to Have
- Background or coursework in psychology, neuroscience, life sciences, or health communication.
- Experience writing for condition-specific audiences: depression, anxiety, ADHD, addiction, chronic pain.
- Familiarity with medical device regulations, medical device communication, or clinical trial write-ups.
- Experience with CMS tools (WordPress, Webflow, Framer) for direct content publishing.
