Location: Remote | Type: Full-time | Salary: 17,000-24,000 p.m.

Role Description

This is a remote role for a Content Writer & Researcher. The individual will be responsible for producing high-quality written content, developing content strategies, conducting in-depth research, and ensuring all materials are thoroughly proofread. The role involves collaborating closely with the team to craft impactful messaging and insightful content that aligns with the mission of social impact organizations.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Web Content Writing, Writing, and Proofreading
  • Experience in developing effective Content Strategies
  • Strong Research skills for creating accurate and insightful content
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge or experience in working with social impact or non-profit organizations is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
  • 1+ years of experience in content research, content strategy or a research-intensive writing role

Responsibilities

  • Research and propose fresh, timely content topics for client and in-house newsletters, identifying emerging trends, untapped angles, and hooks that keep subscribers engaged
  • Conduct deep research for impact reports and pitch decks, gathering compelling statistics, benchmarking data, program outcomes, and case studies
  • Investigate target audiences and analyze competitor content to develop website messaging and content angles that differentiate clients and drive conversions
  • Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, etc.) to accelerate research, brainstorm content directions, and build efficient workflows, while maintaining critical judgment to verify outputs and ensure accuracy
  • Collaborate with strategists and designers to align research findings and content recommendations
  • Manage multiple research and writing projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines without sacrificing depth or quality

Preferred Qualification

  • Experience writing in diverse categories: website content, annual/impact reports, email marketing, social media, landing pages, and paid advertising copy
  • Familiarity with AI writing tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) and how to use them effectively
