About the Role
We're looking for a Content Writer who specialises in creating community-first written content for platforms like Reddit and Quora. This role focuses on writing thoughtful, native, non-promotional content that helps brands participate meaningfully in conversations and achieve their marketing objectives.
You'll work closely with community managers and strategists to translate brand messaging into high-context answers, posts, and discussion-driven content that feels authentic to each platform.
Responsibilities
- Write platform-native content for Reddit and Quora, including posts, comments, long-form answers, and discussion prompts
- Research relevant threads, questions, and community conversations aligned with brand objectives
- Adapt brand messaging into community-friendly narratives that educate, inform, or add value (not sales-led)
- Maintain consistent brand tone while respecting platform culture and moderation norms
- Refresh and iterate content based on performance and engagement signals
- Collaborate with community managers to plan and maintain a content pipeline
- Repurpose brand assets, blogs, FAQs, and campaign messaging into community-suitable formats
- Ensure accuracy, relevance, and clarity across all written content
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in content writing, editorial, or community content roles
- Strong long-form and short-form writing skills
- Demonstrated ability to write contextual, value-driven content (experience with Quora or Reddit preferred)
- Comfortable writing across categories and brand voices
- Ability to take briefs and convert them into discussion-led content
- Strong research and synthesis skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience writing for community platforms or forums
- Understanding of SEO, AI search, and intent-based content
- Ability to balance brand messaging with organic storytelling
- Familiarity with moderation norms and content risk considerations
