As the World Food Movement expands its reach and impact in addressing hunger, food sustainability, and value-based community service, we are seeking a committed and creative Content Writer & Marketer who can effectively communicate our mission to diverse audiences and contribute meaningfully to our growth initiatives. Main Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English Literature, Mass Media, Journalism, Communication, or Linguistics.
- Equivalent qualifications with demonstrated expertise in content creation and marketing will also be considered.
Sub-Qualifications
- Specialized courses or certifications in Digital Marketing, Creative Writing, Scriptwriting, Branding, Content Strategy, or Social Media Marketing.
Required Skills
- Strong creative thinking and storytelling ability with a clear understanding of purpose-driven communication.
- Proficiency in developing impactful content strategies aligned with social, humanitarian, and sustainability-driven campaigns.
- Ability to write compelling, audience-relevant copy across formats blogs, impact stories, campaign scripts, newsletters, website content, and social media.
- Expertise in creating platform-specific content (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Website, Email Marketing).
- Strong grasp of brand voice development and consistency.
- Understanding of marketing funnels, engagement metrics, conversion strategy, and digital distribution models.
- Fluent in at least two of the following languages: English & Hindi with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong command over grammar, vocabulary, tone modulation, and cultural sensitivity.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Campaign & Impact Storytelling
Write compelling narratives highlighting food distribution initiatives, sustainability efforts, volunteer stories, and beneficiary impact. Translate grassroots activity into emotionally resonant and inspiring content.
Develop scripts for campaign films, documentaries, social media reels, awareness campaigns, event coverage, and professional video scriptwriting across formats.
- Content Marketing Strategy
Demonstrate strong understanding of content marketing principles aligning storytelling with measurable objectives such as awareness, engagement, volunteer on-boarding, fundraising, and partnerships.

Ensure all content is accurate, error-free, well-structured, and aligned with the brand voice and mission of the World Food Movement.
- Research & Data Integrity
Conduct thorough research on food security, sustainability, nutrition, community welfare models, and global hunger statistics to produce credible and well-informed content.
- Content Calendar Management
Manage content deliverables across multiple campaigns and initiatives, ensuring timely execution aligned with editorial calendars and strategic timelines.
Understand the preferences and motivations of senators, volunteers, corporate partners, policymakers, and beneficiaries, tailoring communication accordingly.
- Transcription & Condensation
Transcribe key insights from talks, Food Distribution Programs across multiple outreach locations, and convert them into engaging, concise, and relatable content pieces.
Work closely with designers, videographers, editors, social media managers, and campaign coordinators to ensure cohesive communication and campaign alignment.
- Organizational Discipline
Maintain structured digital file management for efficient retrieval and documentation of campaigns and content assets.
Demonstrate genuine passion for reading and staying updated on humanitarian initiatives, global development trends, non-profit communication strategies, and storytelling frameworks.
