Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Content Writer to create and edit friendly, brilliantly clear UX copy. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure content quality, consistency, and alignment with our brand voice.
Responsibilities:
- Write and edit UX copy that is both user-friendly and reflective of the company brand.
- Perform functional and editorial quality assurance on content as appropriate.
- Understand and effectively use our content model, content types, style guide, and brand voice.
- Utilize multiple sources of customer data to inform strategic content direction and improvements.
- Identify opportunities for content additions, improvements, and reuse/repackage, and effectively pitch those ideas to the team and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience writing end-user facing UX copy (applications, web, e-commerce, etc.).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
- Proficient with editing copy in design software like Figma.
- Portfolio of writing and content samples.
- North American English fluency.
- BA/BS degree in English, Communications, Creative Writing, Journalism, or other literary/communication subjects.
Required Skills:
- Natural and inquisitive passion for modern technology.
- Experience working with the Design discipline (interactive, visual, research).
- Experience with digital content tools/CMS.
- Experience working with customer research.
- Agency copywriting experience.
- Flexible, versatile writing across form factors, subject matter, and audiences.
- Self-motivated collaboration and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience with digital products.
- Design Degree or Mass Communication Degree.
