About the role
We are seeking a Content Lead to own and drive the end-to-end content strategy for our B2B IT services business. The role focuses on building high-impact, revenue-aligned content across the full funnel, leading a team of writers, maintaining strong editorial standards, and collaborating with SEO, design, and video teams. The ideal candidate brings strong technical understanding, a data-driven mindset, and the ability to translate complex IT services into clear business value for global audiences.
What you'll do
1. Content Strategy & Revenue Alignment
- Full-Funnel Ownership: Develop and execute a content strategy covering the entire buyer journey, from educational top-of-funnel (TOFU) thought leadership to high-intent bottom-of-funnel (BOFU) case studies, whitepapers, and service landing pages.
- ROI & Analytics: Define and own KPIs for the content team. Track, analyze, and report on how content influences MQLs (Marketing Qualified Leads), organic traffic growth, and sales velocity.
- Conversion Optimization: Constantly audit the inbound funnel to ensure content is not just informative but is actively moving prospects toward a consultation/development(sales).
2. Team Leadership & Operations
- Mentorship: Lead and upskill a team of writers and editors, transitioning them from feature-based writing to consultative, benefit-driven storytelling.
- Editorial Excellence: Maintain a rigorous standard for brand voice and quality. Ensure consistency across the global website, guest posts, PR, and sales collateral.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with SEO to dominate high-intent SERPs and work with Design/Video teams to produce high-impact multimedia assets (infographics, video explainers).
3. Multi-Domain Expertise & Global Context
- Technical Service Depth: Demonstrate a deep understanding of Appinventiv's core offerings, including Product Engineering, Digital Transformation, Cloud/DevOps, Data Science/AI, and Enterprise Mobility. Industry-Specific Use Cases: Translate complex technology into business value across diverse verticals such as FinTech, Healthcare, EdTech, E-commerce, and the on-demand economy.
- Global-Local Context & Compliance: Craft content that respects regional market nuances (US, UK, MENA, SEA) and addresses critical compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA for Healthcare, GDPR for Europe, PCI-DSS for Fintech).
- Competitive Positioning: Analyze global tech trends and competitor whitepapers to ensure Appinventiv's messaging remains the most authoritative and current-time appropriate.
What you'll need
Education and Experience
- Academic: Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Industry Experience: 5 - 9 years of solid, diverse work experience specifically within the software/IT services industry.
- Technical Literacy: Ability to converse with Solution Architects and Product Managers to extract deep technical insights and simplify them for a C-suite audience.
- (B2B IT Services Experience is Mandatory)
Required Competencies
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to justify the Why behind a content piece with data-backed reasoning.
- Editing & Polish: A zero-tolerance approach to errors, inconsistencies, or fluff.
- Search Intent Mastery: Understanding the difference between informational intent and transactional intent to map content to the right SEO keywords.
