Role Overview

Dashverse is building a next-generation microdrama platform. This role sits at the intersection of creative ideation and content strategy.

As a Content Strategy Associate, you will be responsible for generating high-potential microdrama concepts and evaluating existing shows - identifying what works, what can be improved, and what will resonate with target audiences.

This role is ideal for someone who understands storytelling deeply but can also think in terms of market fit, audience behavior, and platform trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Microdrama Ideation & Concept Development

Develop original microdrama concepts across genres (romance, drama, thriller, fantasy); create strong loglines and support them with clear reasoning on why they work; identify high-performing and emerging tropes and reimagine them with fresh angles; generate multiple concepts at scale while maintaining quality and differentiation.

• Content Evaluation & Analysis

Review shows from a curated list and assess their overall potential; identify core strengths (premise, characters, emotional hooks) and gaps (pacing, tone, clarity); recommend whether a show should be taken forward, refined, or deprioritized.

• Creative Development & Enhancement

Propose ways to strengthen content through changes in setting, character dynamics, or tone; suggest additions or modifications to improve engagement and scalability; ensure ideas retain their core appeal while being better suited for platform audiences.

• Trend & Market Analysis

Track top-performing microdramas and short-form content across platforms; analyze recurring tropes, genres, and hooks driving engagement; translate insights into actionable content ideas and development directions.

• Collaboration Across Teams

Work closely with strategy and production teams to refine concepts and improve workflows; communicate ideas clearly and iterate based on feedback.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional work experience, preferably in content
• Strong understanding of storytelling fundamentals (structure, character, conflict, pacing)
• Ability to generate high-concept, hook-driven ideas at scale
• Familiarity with audience preferences across TV, streaming, and short-form content
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate content objectively
• Ability to balance creativity with commercial viability

Nice to Have

• Experience in content development, copywriting, or creative strategy
• Familiarity with microdrama platforms
• Exposure to international content (K-dramas, C-dramas, web series)
• Understanding of digital content trends, virality, and audience retention
• Background in film, media, or content
