Seeking a Dynamic Content strategist for a D2C brand based out of Mumbai.
Job Responsibilities
- Creative Leadership: Define and refine the brand's tone of voice; guide the marketing team on messaging consistency across platforms.
- Content Strategy: Craft compelling narratives for product launches, brand campaigns, retention initiatives, and collaborations.
- Copy Development: Write sharp, relatable copy for digital ads, product descriptions, websites, social media, emails, packaging, and internal campaigns.
- Quality Control: Maintain high writing standards, ensuring clarity, creativity, brand alignment, and grammatical excellence across all deliverables.
- Campaign Collaboration: Partner closely with designers, marketers, and growth teams to co-create ideas that convert and build loyalty.
- Customer-Centric Messaging: Write copy that speaks to the emotions, needs, and aspirations of parents buying for their kids, while reinforcing Plan B's brand values.
- Performance Awareness: Review campaign performance (open rates, CTRs, engagement rates) to continuously sharpen copy effectiveness.
Job Requirements
- 2-7 years of experience in copywriting, ideally with D2C brands in the apparel, lifestyle, or parenting space
- Strong portfolio showcasing ability to write across a variety of formats: long-form storytelling, sharp digital ads, social captions, product messaging, etc.
- Deep understanding of brand tone, audience insight, and digital content trends.
- Ability to switch between persuasive marketing copy and heartfelt brand storytelling with ease.
- Strong project management and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills, and an openness to feedback and iteration.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field.
