Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Content Strategist, based in New Delhi. The Content Strategist will be responsible for developing and executing content strategies that align with Allter's mission and values. They will oversee the planning, creation, editing, and management of high-quality, engaging content for various platforms. Additionally, the strategist will ensure that all content supports brand messaging, improves customer engagement, and drives growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and own the content strategy aligned with brand, marketing, and business goals
- Create content calendars and campaign narratives across digital channels
- Write and oversee high-quality content for website, blogs, email, social media, performance campaigns, landing pages, and product communication
- Translate consumer insights, market trends, and campaign objectives into compelling content ideas
- Partner with designers and marketers to create engaging, platform-native content
- Ensure consistency in tone of voice, messaging, and brand positioning across all touchpoints
- Optimize content for SEO, engagement, and conversion performance
- Analyze content performance and derive insights to improve reach, quality, and ROI
- Support product launches, partnerships, brand campaigns, and seasonal marketing initiatives with strategic content direction
- Build and maintain messaging frameworks, brand guidelines, and editorial standards
- Coordinate with freelancers, agencies, or internal stakeholders when needed to scale content production
Requirements
- 45 years of experience in content strategy, content marketing, digital marketing, or related roles
- Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt tone across formats and audiences
- Proven experience creating content for digital-first brands
- Strong understanding of social media, email marketing, SEO, paid media creatives, and website content
- Ability to think strategically while also being hands-on with execution
- Experience using content to support brand building as well as performance marketing goals
- Familiarity with content analytics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, and social media insights
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in consumer internet, e-commerce, marketplace, or startup environments
- Understanding of storytelling for both organic and paid channels
- Experience working closely with design and performance marketing teams
- Basic understanding of AI-assisted content workflows is a plus
