Job Title: Content Protection & Anti-Piracy Specialist
Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive Content Protection professional to combat digital piracy and safeguard intellectual property across online ecosystems. This role focuses on identifying unauthorized content distribution, executing takedowns, and managing digital rights to ensure content integrity across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor piracy across websites, social media, streaming platforms, and messaging apps
- Identify unauthorized distribution of video, audio, and digital media assets
- Execute takedown actions via platforms such as YouTube, Meta Platforms, Telegram, and Google
- File and manage copyright complaints under frameworks like Digital Millennium Copyright Act and local copyright regulations
- Track, document, and report piracy incidents and enforcement actions
- Work with search engines to delist infringing URLs and reduce visibility
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams on escalations and repeat offenders
- Implement and manage Digital Rights Management (DRM) strategies
- Use content identification technologies (e.g., watermarking, fingerprinting) to trace leaks
- Conduct piracy trend analysis and recommend preventive measures
Digital Rights & DRM Responsibilities
- Manage DRM systems such as Google Widevine, Microsoft PlayReady, and Apple FairPlay
- Ensure secure content distribution across OTT and digital platforms
- Coordinate with tech teams for encryption, licensing, and playback protection
- Audit content security workflows and identify vulnerabilities
- Understanding of torrent ecosystems, streaming piracy, and cyberlocker sites
- Exposure to automation tools, scraping, or piracy detection platforms
