Job Description

edumerge is an AI-first ERP platform built for multi-campus education groups across India. We give Trustees and Chairpersons a single operating view across all their institutions; student lifecycle, staff management, financials & overall control, in real time.

We work with education groups across Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Kerala. We are building the content engine that puts edumerge in front of every decision-maker in this segment.

Role at a Glance

Title: Content Marketing Intern

Function: Marketing

Location: HSR Layout, Bengaluru (Office-First)

Duration: 3-month probation with conversion possibility

Stipend: Rs. 20,000 per month

Performance Bonus: Rs. 5,000 based on outcome, at the end of probation

Start: Immediate / As agreed

The Role

You will own the content output for edumerge. Your job is to build & maintain a steady pipeline of high-quality content - blogs, LinkedIn articles, website copy, thought leadership pieces - that earns edumerge visibility in search and credibility with education decision-makers.

You're also required to create content for social media (LinkedIn) to build credibility for edumerge with decision makers at educational groups across India. It is a content and SEO execution role with clear, measurable output: keyword rankings, organic traffic, blog publish cadence, and content quality.

What You Will Do

Content Creation

  • Write SEO-optimised blog posts targeting education ERP and EdTech keywords
  • Draft thought leadership articles for LinkedIn (CEO and leadership team)
  • Create and update website content in line with product and positioning changes
  • Produce infographics and visual content for blogs and social posts using Canva

SEO and Performance Tracking

  • Track keyword rankings using Ahrefs or SEMrush and report weekly
  • Monitor Google Search Console for impressions, clicks, CTR, and indexation issues
  • Audit existing blog content and update underperforming articles to improve rankings
  • Build and maintain a keyword universe for edumerge's target ICP and segment

LinkedIn and Distribution

  • Manage edumerge's LinkedIn content calendar and schedule posts consistently
  • Repurpose blog content into LinkedIn posts, carousels, and short-form formats
  • Track LinkedIn analytics: reach, engagement, follower growth, and post performance

What We Are Looking For

  • Prior internship or project experience in content marketing, SEO, or social media management (some metrics and a portfolio add brownie points)
  • Strong written and spoken English - no exceptions. Your writing must be clear, professional, and publication-ready
  • Working knowledge of Ahrefs or SEMrush for keyword research and rank tracking
  • Hands-on experience with Google Search Console
  • Canva proficiency for blog infographics and social visuals
  • Basic HTML/CSS (preferred but not mandatory)
  • LinkedIn content experience - knows how the algorithm works and what drives engagement
  • Degree: Bachelor's degree in Technology, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
  • Self-directed, always open to learning, ambition-driven

Compensation and Growth

  • Monthly stipend of Rs. 20,000 based on experience and fit.
  • A performance bonus of Rs. 5,000 shall be awarded to the candidate post-evaluation of the outcome at the end of probation period.
  • Three-month probation period.
  • Strong performers will be considered for a full-time role with a structured CTC.

You will work directly with the marketing team & leadership, with clear exposure to go-to-market execution from day one.
