About The Role
GyanDhan is building India's most trusted end-to-end platform for students going abroad — from choosing a university and getting admission guidance, to securing education loans, managing forex, and everything in between. We are the one place a student comes to when they decide to study abroad, and content is the primary vehicle through which they find us, trust us, and take action.
The content surface is vast and spans the entire study abroad journey: country and university guides, admission timelines, visa processes, scholarship databases, loan comparisons, cost of living breakdowns, post-admission checklists, and more. The intent is high, the audience is making one of the biggest financial decisions of their life, and what we publish genuinely matters to them.
We're looking for a Content Manager who will own this engine end-to-end — strategy, production, quality, and measurement. This isn't a coordination role. You will write. You will edit. You will publish. You will get your hands dirty every single day. The team around you will be small — at most a couple of people — which means the output is predominantly yours. If you're looking to manage a team of writers while staying away from the keyboard yourself, this is not the role.
The person in this role will also redefine how content is produced at GyanDhan — using AI not as a crutch, but as leverage. We believe AI-assisted content, wielded with judgment and editorial depth, can beat purely human-written content at scale. You need to believe this too, and know how to make it real — because it's also how one person does the work of five.
What You'll Own
CONTENT PRODUCTION IN PARTNERSHIP WITH SEO/GEO
- Work closely with the SEO team to receive briefs, understand keyword priorities, topical clusters, and content gaps — then execute on them with speed and quality.
- Translate SEO briefs into content that actually reads well, builds trust, and serves the student — not just content that checks keyword boxes.
- Stay current on GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) best practices and apply them in execution — structuring content so it surfaces in AI-generated answers on ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google SGE, and similar platforms — in coordination with the SEO team's direction.
- Partner with the product team to align content with product features, landing pages, and in-app messaging.
- Flag gaps, quality issues, or strategic blind spots back to the SEO team — you're a close collaborator, not just an order-taker.
AI-AUGMENTED CONTENT PRODUCTION
- Redesign the content production workflow — identify exactly where AI tools create leverage (ideation, first drafts, internal linking, metadata, FAQ generation, content refresh) and where human judgment is irreplaceable.
- Build and maintain a library of custom prompts, style guides, and AI output evaluation rubrics tailored to GyanDhan's tone and audience.
- Implement AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Surfer, etc.) systematically — not experimentally — so the team ships more, faster, without sacrificing depth.
- Track quality metrics rigorously: AI-assisted content should perform on par with or better than fully manual content. If it doesn't, fix the process.
EDITORIAL QUALITY & GOVERNANCE
- Set and enforce the editorial standard — accuracy, depth, originality, and trust signal inclusion (data, expert quotes, first-person research, product alignment).
- Build a quality review process that doesn't slow down production but catches errors, thin content, and factual inconsistencies — including AI hallucinations.
- Ensure content reflects GyanDhan's authority across the full study abroad journey: university and country guides, visa and admission processes, scholarship options, loan comparisons, forex, RBI guidelines, lender terms, and cost of living data — content that a student can actually rely on when making a life decision.
WRITING & DOING — NOT JUST DIRECTING
- Write a significant volume of content yourself — long-form destination guides, university comparison pages, visa process explainers, loan breakdowns, scholarship roundups, and topical cluster pieces covering the full study abroad funnel.
- You're not here to brief others and review. You are often the writer, the editor, and the publisher in the same workflow.
- When you do work with a freelancer or the one or two people on your team, brief them with precision — but don't use them as a shield from production work.
- Build systems and templates that make your own writing faster and more consistent — this is how a small team competes with larger ones.
MEASUREMENT & ITERATION
- Track content performance in collaboration with the SEO team — understand what's ranking, what's not, and why, and use that to improve what you produce next.
- Own the quality side of content metrics: depth, accuracy, engagement signals, and conversion from content pages.
- Run content-level experiments in coordination with SEO — title variants, content depth, format changes — and bring learnings back into your writing process.
