About the Role

We are looking for a Content Intern who enjoys breaking down complex business and financial stories into simple, engaging content. This role is ideal for someone who is curious about markets, companies, and the economy and enjoys turning dense information into clear, interesting narratives.

As a Content Intern, you will work closely with the Finshots team to research business stories, simplify complex concepts, and help create content that works across newsletters and social media.

What You'll Do

• Research the story behind business and financial news and understand the key reasons driving the headlines.
• Simplify complex financial and business concepts so they are easy for a general audience to understand.
• Write clear, engaging, and narrative-driven content for newsletters and social media.
• Repurpose long-form content into formats such as social media posts or carousels.
• Identify interesting data points, insights, or angles that make a story more engaging.
• Work with the team to ensure the content maintains Finshots tone of clarity and simplicity.

What We're Looking For

• Strong interest in business, finance, markets, and the economy.
• Ability to simplify complex topics into clear and engaging explanations.
• Good writing skills with a focus on clarity, storytelling, and structure.
• A curious mindset and the ability to find interesting stories in business news.
• Basic understanding of how content works on platforms like LinkedIn and Instagram.
• Someone who enjoys researching and explaining ideas rather than simply reporting news.
