Job Description
Cybage is looking for an experienced Content Editor to join the Cybage, Content Writing team. The role involves editing and proofreading a wide range of content including RFPs, technical documents, eLearning scripts, leadership messages, and website copy to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Edit, proofread, and quality-check RFPs, proposals, and other business documents.
- Review and refine technical documents, such as user guides, installation guides, and online help files to ensure adherence to global style guides such as the Chicago Manual of Style and Microsoft Writing Style Guide.
- Edit and proofread eLearning visual storyboards, scripts and training content.
- Provide editorial support for website content, internal communication, and leadership messaging.
- Collaborate with writers, SMEs, and business teams to maintain editorial standards.
- Create and manage editorial guidelines, templates, and best practices.
Key Qualifications & Skills
- BA (Hons)/MA in English Literature, Mass Communication, or a related degree.
- 68 years of editorial experience in an IT services or publishing establishment.
- Exceptional command over English - grammar, structure, syntax, and tone.
- Strong understanding of business and technical writing.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
- Experience in designing and delivering communication/writing training programs.
- Excellent stakeholder management and multitasking skills.
