Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Planning
- Develop and maintain content strategies for web pages, portals, campaigns, and print materials.
- Conduct audience research to understand user needs and design content accordingly.
- Partner with campus units to align content with institutional goals and messaging standards.
Content Creation & Editing
- Write, edit, and structure content for clarity, usability, and accessibility.
- Translate complex academic or administrative information into concise, student-friendly language.
- Create content types such as website copy, program descriptions, guides, newsletters, FAQs, email communications, and social media posts.
User Experience & Accessibility
- Apply UX writing principles to improve navigation, comprehension, and task completion.
- Ensure all content complies with accessibility standards
- Conduct content audits, usability tests, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with faculty, staff, and leadership to gather information and validate content.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and marketing teams to deliver integrated digital experiences.
- Provide training and guidance to content contributors across the university.
Content Governance & Quality Assurance
- Maintain consistent tone, voice, and style across platforms.
- Manage content lifecycle, including updates, reviews, and archiving.
- Use analytics to evaluate content performance and recommend improvements.
