PART 2PREREQUISITE TASK GUIDELINESPurpose of This Task

Every candidate applying for this role must complete a mandatory prerequisite assignment before being considered for an interview. This task is not a formality it is a direct demonstration of your subject matter expertise, originality of thinking, and ability to create content that goes beyond what a learner can find on their own.

There are no shortcuts here. Only candidates who genuinely understand Investment Banking at a practitioner level will be able to complete this well.

THE TASK

Prepare 50 original, ungoogleable test questions on Investment Banking

covering Financial Modelling IB Operations Equity Research Valuation Capital Markets

What Does Ungoogleable Mean

An ungoogleable question is NOT just a question that doesn't appear on the first Google results page. It is a question that:

Requires applying multiple IB concepts simultaneously not recalling a single definition or formula

Involves real-world judgment where a strong answer requires weighing trade-offs, not just computing an answer

Tests the WHY and the SO WHAT, not just the WHAT or the HOW MUCH

Forces the candidate to connect theory with deal reality, market conditions, or operational nuance

Can only be answered well by someone who has genuinely studied and thought about IB not just Googled it

Rule of thumb: If a student can find a satisfactory answer within 30 seconds of searching, the question fails the test.
