Role Overview

The Corporate Actions team is responsible for collecting, validating, and maintaining highquality financial data across global markets and asset classes. As a Content Analyst, you will source corporate actions information from approved public domains and contributors, then accurately capture and enrich the data using proprietary collection methodologies. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with timesensitive information while meeting strict quality and delivery standards.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately process, verify, and maintain corporate actions data within internal databases using financial and technical expertise.

Ensure timely updating of information by adhering to defined turnaround times and quality benchmarks.

Perform self-quality checks for all live events to maintain a high standard of data integrity.

Review and audit existing data sources to ensure complete and accurate event coverage as per the source audit guidelines.

Identify and bring up issues or discrepancies in real time, especially when system error or warning messages occur during event creation.

Chip in to ongoing process enhancement by researching queries, analyzing data quality results, and seeking workflow efficiencies.

Participate in testing and providing user feedback for new database or application releases.

Build strong understanding of market practices, regulatory changes, and life cycles of financial instruments across relevant markets.

Validate updated events on downstream products (e.g., DSS, DSP) to understand system behavior after submission.

Knowledge of ISO messaging standards (e.g., ISO 15022, ISO 20022) is an added advantage.

Respond promptly and accurately to client queries, ensuring adherence to quality standards for completeness and timeliness.

Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth query resolution.

Serve as a buddy/mentor to junior team members, supporting their onboarding and skill development.

Complete daily tasks including updating timesheets, production logs, and operational reports as required.

Education & Skills Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Commerce, Finance, or related fields.
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in corporate actions, financial data operations, or related content domains.
  • Strong understanding of capital markets, corporate actions, and lifecycle of fixed income securities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to work under timelines.
