This role is for a Consulting UC Engineer - Webex Calling to architect, implement, and support cutting-edge Unified Communications (UC) solutions on the Cisco Webex platform. The ideal candidate will be a technical expert with a strong background in migrating legacy systems, optimizing call performance, and integrating Webex with other platforms.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement cutting-edge UC solutions on Cisco Webex. This includes designing, deploying, and maintaining advanced communication systems.
- Provide L3 support for complex incidents and escalations. You will be the point person for resolving challenging technical issues and ensuring system stability.
- Configure SIP trunks, dial plans, IVRs, auto attendants, and contact center flows. You'll be responsible for the core configuration that enables a seamless calling experience.
- Migrate legacy platforms like CUCM and UCCX to Webex. This involves careful planning and execution to ensure a smooth transition with minimal disruption.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize call quality, routing, and performance. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring a high-quality user experience.
- Integrate Webex CC with CRMs like Salesforce, Zendesk, and other platforms to enhance business workflows.
- Utilize the Webex Control Hub and coordinate with Cisco TAC for support.
- Perform PCAP, SIP trace, and media path analysis.
- Manage contact center analytics and reporting dashboards.
Skills
Required Skills:
- Experience as a UC Engineer or Unified Communications Engineer.
- Expertise in WebexCC, Cisco, and Webex cc calling.
- Experience as a Network Engineer or UC consulting Engineer.
- Strong understanding of SIP, QoS, and PSTN integrations.
- Stellar communication & conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work effectively in remote collaboration with global teams.
