At Orbit, we are building a consumer app. This is based on a behavioral psychology framework grounded in Big Five psychology and active research in personality science. The framework is live and under continuous development. We're hiring a Consulting Psychologist to lead the ongoing research behind it.
What you'll do
- Lead continuous empirical validation of the framework
- Design and run psychology research, behavioral studies, and psychological assessments with users
- Translate research findings into concrete product features and product decisions
- Conduct qualitative interviews and behavioral analysis with early users
- Review and contribute to ongoing academic literature in psychology, behavioral science, and personality research
- Publish and co-author white papers and related publications as the research evolves
- Work directly with the founder on product direction, with psychology research as the input
Who we're looking for
- Psychology, behavioral science, or cognitive science backgrounds. BA, MA, MSc, MPhil, or PhD in Psychology. Clinical psychologists, counseling psychologists, research psychologists, or behavioral scientists are all welcome
- Good to have : Hands-on experience with empirical research, qualitative and quantitative methods, survey design, psychological assessments, or personality research. Comfort translating findings into product decisions
