Job Title: Consultant

Key Responsibilities

As a Consultant - Citrix Senior Engineer, you will:

Migration Planning and Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive migration plan from Citrix 1912 LTSR to 2203 LTSR, aiming for minimal downtime. Conduct thorough assessments of existing environments to identify issues and compatibility. Manage timelines and deliverables, coordinating migration activities with stakeholders.
Technical Expertise & Optimization: Provide expert-level support and configuration for Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, including 2203 LTSR features. Implement best practices for Citrix environment design, performance tuning, and security, with a focus on operational efficiency.
Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS): Demonstrate strong knowledge of PVS infrastructure (installation, configuration, management, imaging). Assist in creating and maintaining master images for PVS, ensuring optimal performance and compliance.
Troubleshooting & Support: Analyze and resolve complex technical issues related to Citrix infrastructure and PVS using systematic methodologies. Provide timely support to end-users and IT staff during the migration.
Documentation & Training: Create detailed documentation for architectural designs, migration plans, PVS imaging strategies, and standard operating procedures. Identify new features and best practices in Citrix 2203 LTSR and PVS.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (networking, security, application support) to ensure seamless migration and service integration. Act as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

Technical Proficiency:

Strong knowledge of Citrix 1912 LTSR and 2203 LTSR architectures and components.
Expertise in Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS) infrastructure, including provisioning, image management, and troubleshooting.
Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and networking principles.
Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation tasks.
Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops solutions.

Experience & Qualifications:

Proven experience in migration planning and execution for Citrix environments.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues in Citrix and PVS.
Experience in creating detailed technical documentation.

Problem-solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting methodologies for complex technical issues.
