Job Description
The identified candidate will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with broad knowledge and deep domain experience within the Cloud EPM product. The candidate will be an individual contributor, interacting with a global team of functional leaders, business partners, and technical experts to articulate how to best integrate Oracle EPM technologies to deliver superior business impact. The role involves collaboration with Onshore and Nearshore EPM Project teams, including transformation, implementation, roll-out, upgrades, development, and support.
Responsibilities
- Gather requirements, design, develop, document, and support financial planning, budgeting, and reporting solutions using Oracle Cloud Planning (Modules/Custom/Free Form).
- Implement Oracle Cloud Planning modules such as Financials, Workforce, Capital, Projects, and Strategic Modeling.
- Develop reports using Oracle Financials Reporting and Narrative Reporting.
- Perform unit, system, and support user testing associated with Oracle Cloud Planning products.
- Build and support integrations from GL and Close applications to Oracle Cloud Planning.
- Develop technical and functional Oracle Cloud Planning admin and user documentation, including requirements, design, code testing, and end-user documents.
- Attend client meetings to capture key requirements and transform them into design specifications.
- Perform project tasks independently and may direct the efforts of others.
- Participate in and/or lead the development of deliverables that meet client and contract needs.
- Anticipate client needs and formulate solutions to client issues.
- Review deliverables for accuracy and quality.
- Provide coaching and training to junior staff.
- Manage personal and professional development, seeking growth opportunities in consulting skills and EPM products.
- Lead consultant responsibilities include understanding project plans, timelines, status reports, risks, and issue logs to ensure timely delivery.
- Apply Hackett's methodologies, policies, and procedures while adhering to contractual obligations.
Essential Skills
Job
- 8+ years of Hyperion/EPM experience in administration, design, analysis, development, and support of applications related to data warehousing, EPM tools, and Oracle Cloud (Fusion).
- Hands-on experience implementing Hyperion (EPM) applications using EPBCS (Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Services).
- Working knowledge of integrations for EPM Cloud applications.
- Strong understanding of Planning & Budgeting in EPBCS.
- Experience in designing workflows and metadata in EPBCS.
- Ability to work independently to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and collaboration tools.
- Openness to adopting new technologies.
- Oracle Cloud certification (e.g., Oracle Planning 2023 Implementation Essentials 1Z0-1080-23) is an added advantage.

- Flexibility to work long hours overlapping EST, CST, and PST time zones.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a positive attitude.
- MBA in Finance or strong finance domain background is a plus.
- Oracle Cloud Certifications in Cloud EPM workstreams are a plus.
