Job Description

Inviting applications for the role of Consultant, SAP PS !

Responsibilities:

  • Minimum 5 implementation projects in SAP PS, PPM, CPM and IM projects.

  • Defining the migration concept for PS objects and support for New developments / Functional realizations

  • SAP CO - PS modules including Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, Revenue Recognition (Result analysis methods) and strong integration with Accounting (NewGL + Functional Area - CoS), Sales and Logistic modules.

  • Strong knowledge of integration of CO PS modules with Production and other logistic processes.

  • Good configuration knowledge of PS structures: WBS, Network, Milestones, Cost Planning, Budgeting, Scheduling, Material Requirement planning, Project quotation, Time sheets, Goods issues, and other project management activities in SAP PS.

  • Integration knowledge with CO, FI and MM, SD and PP.

  • Must be proficient in handling Issues/support functions.

  • Develop functional specifications for the development of reports, forms, configurations, interfaces, and enhancements in PS areas.

  • Deep knowledge of SAP WBS, Networks, cost planning, budgeting, scheduling, resource related billing, CATS. Familiarity with PS integration to FI, MM, CO, SD, and HR.

SAP PP (Production Planning):

  • Configure and support SAP PP modules including:

  • Master Data (BOM, Routing, Work Centers)

  • MRP, Capacity Planning, and Production Orders

  • Analyze production requirements and translate business needs into SAP solutions

  • Optimize production processes for efficiency, cost, and delivery timelines

  • Support month-end activities, production reporting, and variance analysis

  • Integrate PP with MM, SD, WM/EWM, and FI/CO modules

SAP QM (Quality Management):

  • Configure and manage SAP QM processes:

  • Inspection Planning

  • Quality Notifications

  • Results Recording

  • Quality Certificates

  • Support incoming, in-process, and final inspection processes

  • Ensure compliance with quality standards (ISO, GMP, industry regulations)

  • Handle non-conformance, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

  • Provide quality reporting and analytics

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduation: B.Tech/B.E, MBA/MCA

Preferred Skills:

  • Additionally, the candidate must possess excellent writing, speaking, analytical, project management, organizational, teamwork, and customer service skills that will assist them in identifying solutions to sophisticated security problems

  • Ability to deliver high quality and reliable software by collaborating with team. Outstanding analytical skills, ability to apply expertise to drive sophisticated, technical and highly commercial solutions. Possess good verbal and written communication skills.Top of Form

  • Expertise with SAP modules such as FI, CO, MM, SD, or HCM (technical perspective)

  • Understanding of SAP Data Dictionary, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, ALV reports

  • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and HANA concepts (preferred)

  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
