Roles and Responsibilities:
As an SAP PM Consultant, you will play a critical role in helping organizations optimize their asset management processes. Your key responsibilities will include:
1. SAP PM Implementation & Support:
- Design, configure, and implement SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) modules to meet client business requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their asset management needs and translate them into SAP solutions.
- Provide end-to-end support for SAP PM processes, including equipment master data, maintenance planning, notifications, work orders, and preventive maintenance.
2. Business Process Improvement:
- Analyze current business processes and recommend improvements using SAP best practices.
- Optimize maintenance strategies to enhance asset reliability, reduce downtime, and improve cost efficiency.
3. Technical & Functional Expertise:
- Configure SAP PM components, including maintenance planning, work management, equipment, and technical objects.
- Integrate SAP PM with other modules like SAP MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), and WM (Warehouse Management).
4. Testing & Training:
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for SAP PM functionalities.
- Develop training materials and provide training to end-users on SAP PM processes.
5. Project & Client Management:
- Support project management activities including requirement gathering, documentation, and status reporting.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including technical consultants, business users, and stakeholders.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
- SAP PM certification is preferred.
- Experience:
- 3-6 years of experience in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) implementation, support, or consulting roles.
- Hands-on experience in SAP PM configuration, business process mapping, and troubleshooting.
- Skills Required:
- Strong understanding of SAP PM modules: Maintenance Planning, Work Management, Equipment Master Data, Notifications, and Preventive Maintenance.
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA PM is a plus.
- Good knowledge of SAP integration with other modules like MM, SD, and WM.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
