Role Overview:

This role focuses on configuring, and implementing SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) solutions acrossDemand Planning, Supply Planning, and CIDS (Configuration, Integration, Data & Simulation) models. The expert will ensure robust planning processes, seamless integration with ERP systems, and advanced scenario simulations to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• IBP Model Configuration

  • Design and configure planning areas, key figures, attributes, and planning levels.
  • Configure planning operators (heuristics, optimizer, supply propagation, and deployment).

• Demand Planning

  • Implement statistical forecasting models and consensus planning processes.
  • Configure all demand planning functionalities and forecast accuracy KPIs.

• Supply Planning

  • Configure supply planning heuristics and optimizer for multi-echelon networks.
  • Support S&OP cycle with integrated demand-supply balancing.

• Integration & Data Management

  • Ensure seamless integration between IBP and S/4HANA/ECC using CPI/RTI.
  • Manage master data and transactional data flows for planning models.
  • Validate data consistency and troubleshoot integration issues.

• Simulation & Analytics

  • Build and maintain simulation models for what-if analysis and scenario planning.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on scenario outcomes.

• Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Conduct workshops with business teams to gather requirements.
  • Train end-users on IBP functionalities and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience in SAP IBP Demand & Supply Planning.
• Understanding of CIDS model configuration
• IBP planning area design and other Model Config
• Expertise in Key Figure calculations.
• Hands-on experience with planning operators, optimizer, and heuristics.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP IBP certification.
• 2-5 years Experience in IBP Demand , S&OP and CIDS
• SAP APO experience is add on.
• Familiarity with Inventory Optimization and Response Planning.
