Job Description
The SAP IBP Inventory Optimization Consultant will play a pivotal role in our SAP Planning - Delivery department. They will be responsible for driving the implementation and support of SAP IBP Inventory Optimization solutions, ensuring our clients achieve optimal inventory management and supply chain efficiency. This role requires a strong understanding of SAP IBP and the ability to translate business requirements into effective SAP IBP configurations.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end SAP IBP Inventory Optimization implementations, ensuring successful delivery and client satisfaction.
- Design and configure SAP IBP solutions to meet client-specific inventory management and planning needs.
- Integrate SAP IBP with other SAP modules and external systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation.
- Manage and mentor a team of SAP IBP consultants, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Conduct business process analysis and design workshops to understand client requirements and translate them into SAP IBP configurations.
- Develop and execute testing strategies to ensure the accuracy and reliability of SAP IBP solutions.
- Provide post-implementation support and maintenance, ensuring smooth operations and addressing any issues promptly.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP IBP releases and industry trends, incorporating best practices into our implementations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users and IT teams, to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP IBP Inventory Optimization implementations, with a proven track record of successful deliveries.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP IBP functionality, including inventory planning, forecasting, and optimization techniques.
- Strong business process analysis and design skills, with the ability to translate requirements into effective SAP IBP configurations.
- Experience in leading and managing SAP IBP implementation projects, including resource allocation and project planning.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Proficiency in SAP integration techniques, including data migration and interface development.
- Familiarity with SAP HANA and its integration with SAP IBP is highly preferred.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Certifications in SAP IBP or other relevant SAP modules are an advantage.
- Willingness to travel as required for client engagements and project implementations.
