Job Summary

The Senior Assoc, Functional Design and Architect is accountable for collaborating with the Digital and Transformation team in various locations to define, deliver and support IT enabled business solutions for respective SAP module. This role will also help determine business needs and design and deliver technical solutions for these areas. The role with help will handle the delivery, maintenance, system configuration and enhancement plus production support in alignment with Client Digital and Transformation and company policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Possess understanding of the overall vision and business needs and utilizes this knowledge to collaborate with business to define detailed business requirements. This includes interpreting any issues and recommending solutions or best practices.
• Utilizes knowledge of best practices to define strategic direction, determine business needs and design and deliver technical solutions for Financial processes.
• Provide technical delivery of functionality to meet defined business requirements.
• Essential member of agile sprint team(s) to configure and develop optimal technical solutions / features.
• Provide technical delivery of functionality to meet defined business requirements as described in User Stories.
• Provide system support and maintenance in alignment with standards and process set within the ERP Services Delivery model, client policies and procedures as well as Regulatory requirements including but not limited to Sarbanes-Oxley and FDA GMP.
• Create and maintain system lifecycle documents in accordance with Client policies and procedures, including creation and maintenance of SOPs, SOIs and Job Aids.
• Work within and participates in the Change Control process.
• Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules.
• Exhibit regular, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance.
• Other duties as assigned

Education

• Bachelor's degree with M.B.A (Finance) / Masters Degree with Accounting as primary subject / Chartered Accountant (C.A) / Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) / Cost Management Accounting (CMA) / other related field or equivalent experience.

Work Experience

• Minimum 5 years 5-8 years of relevant experience required

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Excellent SAP skills - system functionality and technical understanding must be up to date on latest SAP S4HANA Finance release.
• SAP FI - Accounts Receivable and Payable General Ledger including new GL Fixed Asset Accounting Bank Accounting Taxes on Sales / Purchases Withholding taxes Cross-modular integration with CO, MM, SD, PP, PM and PS modules
• SAP CO - Cost Element Accounting, Cost Centre Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, Material Ledger, CO-PA, Profit Centre Accounting, management reporting using CO, COPA, Product Costing.
• SAP PS - Project System structure definition, Financials including Results Analysis

• Ability to work in a virtual environment in a global organization and to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced & complex environment with a self-motivated work ethic utilize sound judgment with an ability to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency.
• Proficient English language skills
• Willingness to global travel
• Able to comply with the company's safety policy at all times
• Able to comply with the company's quality policy at all times.

License and Certifications

Certifications preferred but not a must have

• Certification from SAP in FICO module
• Agile & Scrum Certification, ITIL

Travel Requirements

10%: Up to 26 business days per year
