JOB DESCRIPTION
The SAP ABAP CDS Consultant is a critical role related to implementation of custom developments and technology solutions involving diagnosis, analysis and transformation of business functions in a project in S4 HANA environment.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Developing custom WRICEF objects and helping successful implementation of SAP S4 HANA in customer organizations.
Drive with building Assets and Accelerators in SAP ABAP on HANA and other niche technical areas to reduce the overall cost to serve.
Liaising with Solution Architect, Technical Lead, Functional Consultants and Technical peers to achieve project goals within expected timelines.
Build repository of custom developments implemented by Bristlecone for unique business requirements.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
5 plus years of ABAP Development experience, at least 1 year in CDS ABAP.
At least 1 end to end APO implementation or APO Support project not including Rollouts.
ABAP Certification would be an added advantage.
TECHNICAL EXPERTISE
Worked in real time environment in HANA.
Worked on ABAP on HANA with experience.
Experience in Calculation Views, CDS and ODATA.
Experience in AMDP classes.
Aware on Transport mechanism for HANA artefacts.
Understanding of HANA architecture.
Understanding of inmemory concept.
Experience in areas of WRICEF Developments involving ABAP, ABAP Objects, ALVs, BDCs, BAPIs, Reports, Enhancement Frameworks like BADIs or User Exits, Workflows, Smart forms, Interfaces, Standard code debugging, SAP integration with 3rd party systems, ABAP Proxies.
Deep knowledge and experience in end to end implementation projects in SAP ABAP.
Ability to understand Functional specification, write Technical Specification and work independently with minimal support.
Very good understanding of development standards, limitations, performance optimization techniques.
Experience in interacting with functional consultants to provide daily operational support as well as solution implementation for enhancements and projects.
Soft Skills
Excellent communication skills, verbal as well as written.
Positive attitude with flexibility and maturity to work in a challenging client environment.
