The role is for SAP BODS and Information Steward who will be responsible for data quality and ensuring accurate data is available for reporting. Key responsibilities include supporting existing data models, designing data management frameworks using SAP tools, having strong skills in BI tools like BODS and Information Steward, and managing data services. The ideal candidate has experience in data stewardship and governance with skills in tools like SAP Information Steward and BODS

Responsibilities

• Should have experience on SAP BODS and Information Steward.

• Data Profiling and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive data profiling to assess the quality and structure of data. Identify anomalies, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement. Strong command over BI tools like BODS Data Quality, Information Steward including data insights for data profiling, rules, cleansing advisor, meta data management, cleansing package builder, match review and custom attributes.

• Handson experience with Information Steward to profile source data, analyze its quality, and identify inconsistencies or anomalies before migration or integration.

• The BODS developer requires proficiency for data extraction and transformation with deep understanding of ABAP CDS views and their extension capabilities for building and extending data models in SAP S/4HANA, experience with ODP (Operational Data Provisioning) for efficient data extraction.

• Expert in SAP DS (BODS) tool

• Hands-on experience on Traditional Data Migration Techniques

• Expert in Data Quality (Data Profiling, Data Cleansing)

• Perform rules based data profiling and create DQ scorecard in IS

• Hands-on experience on LSMW and BDC

• Knowledge of Migration Workbench Monitor

• Strong understanding how to resolve issue arises in S/4 HANA Migration Cockpit

• Knowledge to migrate Data in HANA Cloud ( Direct Transfer Approach)

• Good Functional understanding of all the module in SAP

• Previous experience with the Planning of DM Objects

• Well versed with the sequence of Load along with Dependencies

• Knowledge of Cutover & Transactional Data objects

• Good Knowledge on inclusion of Z Fields on SAP standard Screen

• Strong communication skills

• Strong team management skills.

• Use Information Steward to profile source data, analyze its quality, and identify inconsistencies or anomalies before migration or integration.

• Metadata Management: Manage and maintain metadata repositories to ensure accurate documentation of data sources, definitions, and relationships. Strong knowledge on RDBMS like Oracle, SQL server, SAP HANA is required.

• Data Quality Monitoring: Implement and oversee data quality rules and metrics. Monitor data quality trends and report findings to stakeholders.

• Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with IT, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and address data-related issues.

• Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed reports on data quality assessments and improvements. Document processes and methodologies used in data management.

• Training and Support: Provide training and support to users on SAP Information Steward functionalities. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate or postgraduate in B.Tech, IT or MCA.

• Ability to deliver high quality and reliable software by collaborating with team. Outstanding analytical skills, ability to apply expertise to drive complex, technical and highly commercial solutions. Possess good verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent customer facing skills that include conducting compelling technical briefing& demonstrations including issues, status reports and resolving impediments.
