DEPARTMENT : RADIOLOGY

POSITION : CONSULTANT Part Time

REPORTING TO : MEDICAL DIRECTOR/ CEO

QUALIFICATION : DMRD/DNB/ MD RADIOLOGY

EXPERIENCE : 1 YEAR & MORE

DUTY HOURS : AS PER SCHEDULED REQUIREMENTS

Job Description

Key areas of responsibility:

Provide counseling to radiologic patients to explain the processes, risks, benefits, or alternative treatments
Examine and diagnose disorders and diseases using x-rays and radioactive materials
Perform or interpret the outcomes of diagnostic imaging procedures including Ultrasound, Color Doppler, X-Ray.
Prepare comprehensive interpretive reports of findings
Communicate detailed medical information to patients or family members.
Communicate test or assessment results to medical professionals.
To ensure PNDT related documentation & compliance all the time.
To intimate immediately to consultants for any critical results/finding.
To ensure regular preventive maintenance of machine.
Must be familiar with NABH standards, protocols and documentation process.
Responsible for managing all the patients and performing high quality ultrasound and Color DOPPLER.
To be well groomed, punctual & adhere to company policies and practices, familiar with NABH protocols.
To Comply with patient safety policy
To ensure safe utilization, maintenance of equipments and proper waste disposal system
To be involved in quality Assurance / Quality control activities.
To perform all the jobs as may be assigned due to exigencies of work.
Participation in Continuous Quality Improvement.
