Primary Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Consultant (On-site, India)

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide expert interpretation of PET-CT and SPECT/CT studies and deliver clear, timely diagnostic reports for referring clinicians.
  • Plan and administer radionuclide therapies (e.g., I-131, Lu-177), including patient assessment, treatment dosing and follow-up care.
  • Oversee radiopharmacy processes and ensure safe handling, preparation and quality control of radiopharmaceuticals in line with regulations.
  • Perform dosimetry calculations and apply radiation-safety protocols to optimise therapeutic outcomes and minimise exposure.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and collaborate with oncology, surgery and radiology teams to define patient management plans.
  • Maintain clinical governance: develop protocols, lead quality-assurance initiatives, mentor junior staff and support audit and accreditation activities.

Qualifications (Must-Have)

  • MBBS with MD/DNB in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent clinical qualification.
  • Valid medical registration to practise in India and prior clinical experience in a nuclear medicine department.
  • Demonstrable experience in diagnostic reporting and in delivering radionuclide therapies in a hospital setting.

Preferred

  • Fellowship or advanced training in theranostics or molecular imaging.
  • Hands-on experience with PSMA/Lu-177 therapies and PET/MR reporting.
  • Experience supporting clinical trials or regulatory submissions related to radiopharmaceuticals.
