Surgical Responsibilities
- Perform neurosurgical procedures involving the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves.
- Conduct microsurgeries using operating microscopes.
- Perform tumor removals, spine surgeries, vascular procedures, and trauma-related interventions.
- Handle emergency and unscheduled surgical cases.
Clinical & Diagnostic Duties
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for neurological conditions.
- Order, perform, and interpret MRI, CT scan, PET scan, and other diagnostic tests.
- Monitor post-operative recovery and patient progress.
Team Coordination & Communication
- Lead and coordinate teams of surgeons, anesthetists, and nursing staff in OT.
- Communicate surgical updates to patients families.
- Collaborate with neurologists, psychiatrists, therapists, and other specialists.
Administrative & Academic Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Prescribe medications and complete statutory paperwork.
- Stay updated with medical advancements and attend conferences/CME programs.
