Job Description

  • Oversee the microbiology department, managing laboratory operations and ensuring accurate diagnostic testing for infectious diseases.
  • Implement infection control policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and reducing the risk of hospital-acquired infections.
  • Collaborate with clinicians to provide guidance on appropriate treatment strategies based on microbiological findings.
  • Conduct research on emerging infectious diseases, antibiotic resistance, and infection control techniques to improve patient outcomes.
  • Lead training programs for healthcare staff on infection prevention and control measures.
  • Monitor and analyze infection data to identify trends and take corrective actions when necessary.
