Responsibilities

As a business, we want to help our customers to be more self-sufficient and to reduce their dependence on our support services. To do this, we are investing in providing support materials and training content through a self-service Knowledge Base that will be made available to all our customers. The Knowledge Manager is a key role supporting this strategy who will work alongside our Technical Authors, Product Trainers and our Digital Adoption Lead to ensure that the Knowledge Base and its content is aligned with our product development, accurate and accessible and delivers measurable value to our customers.

  • Supports the Knowledge Base development and delivery strategy working with other internal

teams including Technical Authors, Product Trainers, and the ServiceNow development team and the Digital Adoption Lead.

  • Supports documentation maintenance and release processes for product releases to ensure that high quality content is available to customers for new product releases working closely with the Technical Author team.
  • Manages processes for making training videos available as part of the Knowledge Base, working closely with our Product Trainers.
  • Works closely with our Service Now development team to support the delivery of improvements to the Knowledge Base including researching ServiceNow Knowledge Base functionality options that we may be able to benefit from.
  • Responsible for maintenance of the Knowledge Base including quality checking and archiving.
  • Responsible for maintaining starters and leavers access to the Knowledge Base following agreed processes and with guidance from the ServiceNow team.
  • Responsible for agreed metric reporting to internal stakeholders to drive improvements and

measure customer engagement and internal activity.

  • Documents Knowledge Base maintenance and management processes ensuring that these are reviewed and agreed with appropriate stakeholders.
  • Works with internal support teams to identify and drive potential improvements and additions to the Knowledge Base and inputs into the Knowledge Base content backlog.
  • Understands security and accessibility of the Knowledge Base and potential best practice

improvements and drives improvements working with internal teams and stakeholders.

  • Supports the Technical Author team as an additional Technical Author as needed.

Experience

Exp:-3 +yrs

The Knowledge Manager needs to have a strong understanding of the full RM e-Assessment product portfolio and our Assessment customers so that we can develop and refine the information that we make available to our customers and how we present and publish content to meet customers needs. We recognize, however, that someone joining RM will not have prior knowledge of our products and our customers and so will be supported to develop this knowledge.
