Inviting applications for the role of Consultant - IT SOX, Cyber Risk, Compliance & GRC
The Consultant - IT SOX, Cyber Risk, Compliance & GRC will support the execution of IT SOX compliance, cyber security risk management, governance, and regulatory compliance activities across enterprise IT environments.
This is a delivery-focused, hands-on role, ideal for professionals looking to build strong foundations in IT compliance, cyber risk, and GRC by working closely with Senior Consultants, Managers, and client stakeholders. The Consultant will contribute to control execution, documentation, testing support, and audit readiness activities while gaining exposure to leading industry frameworks and tools.
Responsibilities
1. IT SOX Compliance Support
.Assist in IT SOX control documentation, including narratives, flowcharts, and walkthroughs
.Support evidence collection and validation for IT general controls (ITGCs)
.Help maintain and update the IT SOX control library and trackers
.Support coordination of control testing activities under guidance
.Track assigned SOX issues and remediation actions to closure
2. Cyber Security Risk Management
.Support cyber security risk identification and assessment activities
.Assist in updating risk registers, issue logs, and remediation plans within GRC tools
.Contribute to preparation of risk summaries, dashboards, and reports for internal reviews
3. Governance, Policies & Standards
.Assist with cyber and information security policy updates, reviews, and documentation
.Support mapping of controls to frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST CSF
4. Compliance & Audit Support
.Support continuous compliance activities for applicable regulatory and industry standards
.Assist in control design, testing, and monitoring activities
.Help prepare audit documentation and evidence for internal and external audits
.Track audit observations and support remediation follow-ups with control owners
5. Third-Party Cyber Risk Management
.Assist in tracking remediation actions and ongoing monitoring activities
6. Stakeholder Collaboration
.Work with IT, Security, Audit, and business teams on assigned tasks
.Provide timely status updates to project leads and managers
.Support risk awareness and compliance execution across workstreams
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
.Years of experience in Cyber Security, IT Risk, GRC, or IT Compliance
.Foundational exposure to IT SOX compliance or IT audit support
.Basic experience working with GRC tools, control documentation, or audit evidence
.Understanding of enterprise IT environments and controls
Frameworks & Standards
.IT SOX (foundational exposure)
.ISO 27001 (ISMS) - awareness or hands-on support
.NIST Cyber Security Framework (CSF) - working knowledge
Preferred Certifications
.CISA, CISM, CRISC, or CISSP (completed or in progress)
.ISO 27001 Internal Auditor / Lead Implementer - desirable
.ITIL or equivalent governance certifications - desirable
