Job Summary

  • Manage and support consultants throughout the assignment lifecycle, including onboarding, active assignment engagement, and redeployment coordination.
  • Oversee redeployment efforts to minimize bench time and improve overall consultant utilization across client accounts.
  • Track and report key performance metricsincluding minimum bench time thresholds, redeployment speed, and consultant availabilityto drive operational excellence.
  • Partner with recruiters and account managers to align open client roles with available consultants and anticipate future demand needs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for consultants, providing communication, career guidance, performance support, and issue resolution.
  • Monitor timesheet activity to ensure consultants maintain maximum allowable productivity and compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with immigration and compliance teams to maintain accurate documentation and adherence to H1B and employment-related regulations.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve consultant engagement, and enhance redeployment outcomes.
  • Contribute to long-term program growth, including the potential to build and lead a team or expand the function's scope as business needs evolve.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in IT staffing, contingent workforce programs, consultant management, or a related function.
  • Strong familiarity with H1B program requirements, immigration documentation, and relevant employment regulations.
  • Demonstrated success managing consultant relationships, redeployment processes, and compliance-driven workflows.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills with the ability to partner across diverse internal teams.
  • Highly organized, detail-focused, and capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, CRM/ATS tools, dashboards, and other standard business systems.
  • Experience operating in high-volume staffing or contractor management environments is strongly preferred.
