Role Overview:

We are seeking a qualified Intensivist / General Physician to provide comprehensive care to ICU and inpatient ward patients. The doctor will be responsible for clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and continuous patient monitoring. The role requires close coordination with consultants and clinical departments to ensure timely and effective patient management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide medical management for ICU and ward patients as per assigned duty roster.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Manage critically ill patients, including those requiring ventilator and advanced monitoring support (for intensivist scope).
• Conduct daily rounds and document clinical findings and treatment plans.
• Respond to medical emergencies and code situations promptly.
• Coordinate with specialists, nursing teams, and allied services for integrated patient care.
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation and discharge summaries.
• Follow hospital clinical protocols, infection control standards, and safety guidelines.
• Communicate clearly with patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and progress.
• Participate in clinical audits, mortality reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Support training and supervision of junior doctors and clinical staff when required.

Required Qualifications:

• IDCCM (Indian Diploma in Critical Care Medicine) or equivalent recognized critical care qualification preferred for intensivist applicants.
• MD / DNB in General Medicine, Critical Care, or related specialty

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 35 years of relevant experience in ICU or hospital-based general medicine practice preferred.
• Experience in critical care protocols and emergency handling is desirable & should have established patient base in general medicine and can contribute to OPD/IPD patient volume.

Work Conditions:

This is an on-site hospital role based in Indore. Duty schedules will be fixed with availability of 24x7 in emergency.
