Job Title: Consultant

Location:Gurugram, Haryana, India (Hybrid)

Position Description

We are seeking a candidate with 45 years of experience in procurement consulting, cost optimization, and strategic sourcing. The Consultant will play a key role in supporting client engagements, working directly with senior client stakeholders to deliver measurable value through spend analytics delivery, sourcing execution, and business development initiatives. The role provides a unique opportunity to collaborate with a diverse international team and make an immediate impact. This role will require working directly with US-based leadership.

Role Summary:

  • Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing projects across direct and indirect categories, from spend analysis to supplier negotiations and implementation.
  • Develop category strategies by analyzing market conditions, supplier landscapes, and client objectives.
  • Design and execute sourcing events (RFI, RFP, eAuctions).
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between client teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to deliver measurable value.
  • Present insights, strategies, and recommendations to senior and executive-level client leaders.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, balancing priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Mentor and train analysts in strategic sourcing frameworks and client delivery methods.
  • Support recruitment initiatives by identifying and evaluating new talent for the practice.
  • Contribute to the development of intellectual capital, sourcing playbooks, and standard operating procedures.

Ideal candidate will have:

  • 4-5 years of experience in management consulting, procurement advisory, or cost reduction projects.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
  • Proven experience working with procurement data (spend cubes, category analytics, supplier databases).
  • Proven ability to engage and influence C-suite executives.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills to lead discussions with leadership teams of US-based customers.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A self-starter mindset with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, client-facing settings.
