- Diagnose and manage hematological malignancies (leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma)
- Manage benign hematological disorders (aplastic anemia, hemophilia, thalassemia, ITP)
- Evaluate and perform autologous and allogeneic BMT procedures
- Conduct pre-transplant workup and donor evaluation
- Manage conditioning regimens and transplant protocols
- Monitor and manage graft-versus-host disease (GVHD)
- Handle transplant-related complications (sepsis, veno-occlusive disease, cytopenias)
- Coordinate with transfusion medicine, infectious disease, ICU, and oncology teams
- Ensure compliance with transplant infection control protocols
- Participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary meetings
- Maintain transplant outcome data and reporting metrics
- Contribute to clinical research and academic activities
- Ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance
Qualifications
Education: DM/DrNB Clinical Hematology
Experience: Min of 5 years post DM experience in handling BMT independently.
