Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Construction Purchaser Support Specialist located in Lucknow. The role involves supporting procurement processes in construction, including sourcing and purchasing materials, managing vendor relationships, preparing purchase orders, and ensuring compliance with budget and quality standards. The specialist will work closely with project teams to ensure timely delivery of materials, maintain detailed records, and collaborate on cost optimization to support project goals effectively.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, purchasing, and vendor negotiations specifically within the construction industry
• Knowledge of construction materials, products, and quality standards
• Strong organizational and inventory management skills
• Proficiency in using procurement software and maintaining documentation
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure cost-efficient sourcing and timely delivery
• Effective communication skills to liaise with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize under tight deadlines
• Educational qualifications in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field preferred
• Working knowledge of government procurement policies and compliance is an advantage
