Description
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Manager to oversee various construction projects in India. The ideal candidate will have 1-10 years of experience in construction management, capable of ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee construction projects from inception to completion while ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and timelines, ensuring effective resource allocation.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
- Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders and management.
- Ensure quality control throughout the construction process and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in construction management software and project management tools.
- Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address construction challenges.
- Project management certification (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent) is a plus.
