Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Puducherry for a Construction Engineer. The Construction Engineer will be responsible for conducting feasibility studies, preparing construction plans, and ensuring compliance with building codes and safety regulations. The Construction Engineer will also collaborate with architects, contractors, and other building professionals to determine project specifications and requirements, and oversee construction and maintenance projects from conception to completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Experience in construction project management, planning, designing and execution
• Knowledge of building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, and other computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to manage budgets and timelines, and work effectively in cross-functional and collaborative teams
• Experience with Environmental and Sustainability practices in the construction industry is a plus
• Familiarity with project management software is a plus
