Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Coordinator to oversee construction projects and ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in coordinating construction activities and will be responsible for supporting the project manager in all aspects of project execution.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate construction projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Communicate with clients, architects, and subcontractors to facilitate project requirements and updates.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports.
- Monitor site progress and quality, addressing any issues that arise during construction.
- Assist in resource allocation and management, including materials and labor.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes during all phases of construction.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-10 years of experience in construction coordination or project management.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and legal regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar tools).
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
- Problem-solving skills to address and mitigate project challenges.
