We are part of Product Operations, we manily manage the Product Option Architecture which enables Lams customers to configure our products and create quotes.
The impact you'll make
Maintain the BOM before the orders are created, we follow intricate process and guidelines to manage the most complex BOMs and expect 100% accuracy with no margin for errors on every POA change that takes place every 6 weeks.
What You'll Do
Primary Responsibilities:
- Review configurable BOM structures with NPI prior to CO submission
- Publish BOM review files for BUs to confirm prior to POA release
- Responsible for interpreting the BoM Item Text for Configurable BOM structure for inclusion into POA BoM mapping rules to be submitted to the SAP Modeling Group for implementation into the product model
- Responsible for the coordination of POA Integration testing per POA Release
- Maintains/updates the POA-BOM (p/n) mapping as it is affected by POA changes through the iPLM change orders (CO) process ->PCA workflow
- Review and implement customer specific requirements (Non-Standard Requests (NSRs))
- Review and Approve Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) on sales order specific Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Review and update the Material Master setting for New Products (Top Levels)
Who We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to successfully interact with and coordinate across diverse parts of the organization, technical and non-technical
- Excellent decision making and problem solving and trouble shooting.
- Experience with Hardware Configuration/Product Management
- Computer literate including MS Office suite, email, Windows, Explorer
- Knowledge of BOM structures and Engineering Change process
- Excellent communication skills
- Candidates should be comfortable working in shift based on business needs. Shift timings 1:30pm to 10:30pm
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant exp in facilitating the development of product structures and BOMs, Project Manage customer specific capital equipment systems based on requirements defined by Sales and Engineering teams to meet the customer's requirements.
- Experience in the wafer processing or general manufacturing is an added advantage
- Experience working with global partners especially in US timezone.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. On-site Flex you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. Virtual Flex you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
