Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Computer Vision Engineer based in Chennai.

Experience: Minimum 2 years Location: Chennai (office-based) + client-site deployments (travel required)

Core Skills (Must-Have)

· Strong Python with solid OOP principles

· PyTorch for model development and training

. Custom datasets, training loops, loss functions, checkpoints

· Computer Vision fundamentals and applied experience

. OpenCV

. Image preprocessing & image correction (lighting, distortion, noise, normalization, etc.)

· Has knowledge of selecting industrial GiGE cameras and appropriate lighting based on the defect to be highlighted and the component surface texture (ex metallic, chrome finish, leather etc)

· Knowledge of camera calibration

· Model training pipelines

. Data collection, Data curation, augmentation, evaluation, iteration

· Model optimization

. Accuracy–latency trade-offs, memory optimization, inference speed

· Multithreading & multiprocessing concepts

· Flask (or similar) for serving ML inference APIs

. Knowledge of common software design patterns
