Computer Teacher

• Develop and deliver curriculum-aligned lessons in computer science and programming (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Scratch, HTML/CSS).
• Teach students the fundamentals of computer operations, digital citizenship, and safe internet practices.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and inquiry.
• Design and assess student projects and assignments to evaluate understanding and skill development.
• Stay current with new teaching methods, technologies, and curriculum developments in computer science education.
• Prepare students for coding competitions, tech fairs, and certifications where applicable.
• Collaborate with other faculty members to integrate technology across subjects and develop interdisciplinary projects.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field.
• Teaching certification/license (as per local regulations) is preferred.
• Proven experience in teaching coding and computer skills to students.
• Proficiency in at least one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, JavaScript).
• Familiarity with educational technology platforms and tools (e.g., Google Classroom, Code.org, Tynker, Scratch).
• Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with robotics, app development, or web design is a plus.
• Knowledge of project-based learning and STEAM education models.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to accommodate a range of learning styles.
